Koinonia Our Middle School Ministry youth group is for kids in grades 6-8. The word Koinonia: - is from the Greekmeans community by intimate participation
- Used in New Testament to describe the relationship within the early Christian church as well as the act of breaking bread in the manner in which Christ prescribed during the Passover meal
- Can also be translated into fellowship, sharing, participation and contribution
The members of Koinonia come together to share, participate and contribute to each other, the Community of Christ, and the wider world. They are energetic, compassionate, kind, fun and brilliant! - Social time and team activities that help kids build relationships
- 2 youth group meetings a month (2nd & 4th Sundays)
- A lively, modern youth evening service (1st Sundays @ 7pm)
- Interesting guest speakers (3rd Sundays) who talk about how their faith has informed their education, careers and volunteerism
We are guided by the Seasons of the Spirit curriculum, which contains meaningful and relevant content designed to engage and challenge our young church members to follow in the steps of Christ as they navigate their own lives. |  |
